The print collection includes over ten thousand volumes, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers, career information, maps, and books. The non-print collection includes audio books, DVD's, video cassettes, on-line access, and on-line databases such as iConn. The print and non-print collections are used for both pleasure and academics. Faculty and students also have access to a variety of computer programs at workstations throughout the library. Also available are projectors, and video and document cameras.
 
All circulating materials may be signed out for a one month period and then renewed if there is no hold request for the item. Students are responsible for the timely return of materials in an acceptable condition. Students will be charged for lost or damaged items.
 
At request, the library media specialist will also work in conjunction with other staff for specific course work. Examples of lessons taught by the library media specialist include:
  • Library orientation
  • Information literacy
  • Database / search engine searching
  • Website evaluation
  • Plagiarism and citations
  • Research skills
  • Primary vs. secondary sources
  • Information seeking skills, etc.
