Courses:

The library media specialist will work in conjunction with other teachers for specific course work. Examples of lessons taught in the library might include:
  • Library orientation
  • Information literacy
  • Database / search engine searching
  • Website evaluation
  • Plagiarism and citations
  • Research skills
  • Information seeking skills, etc.

Education:

BS Elementary Education, Special Education - Elizabethtown College
Master's in Library Science (MLS) - Southern CT State University

Available for Help:

By appointment before, during, and after school. Students may visit the library at any time during the day to make an appointment.
Students are also encouraged to come to the library during their study hall time to check out books and for reference questions, Internet searching skills, source evaluation, note-taking tips, etc. Students must have a pass from their teacher to come to the LMC.
